Senior Testimonials

Dear Ms. Rohner,
On Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, St. John Council, Knights of Columbus changed the venue of our annual Christmas party at Pocmont and I would just like to report that we were very pleased with the facilities and treatment we received.
I would especially like to acknowledge Jacquelyn Jones, Group Sales Manager.
She was a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and patient with the changes made in attendance and food selections as the date neared. I should add that everyone was very pleased with the quality and quantities served at the buffet.
Finally, I'd be remiss if I failed to acknowledge our waitress/server. Rosalie. She went out of her way to make sure everyone had whatever they needed or wanted. She was truly pleasant and professional.
This was a job well done. Be assured that Pocmont will be considered for our future events.
Sincerely yours,
Arthur Alaggio,

Dear Gregg,
Thank you for donating the Star Room for my event on September 28, 2008 which honored the service of Monroe and Pike County's World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Veterans. Your generosity was very much appreciated.
Based on the feedback I received from the veterans, the event was a huge success! There were 100 veterans and approximately 125 of their guests in attendance.
Your Director of Sales, JoAnne Thomas, was extremely helpful to our office as we planned and executed this event. JoAnne made sure that every detail was attended to. Additionally, she thoroughly apprised the staff of what our needs were on the day of the event. As a result, everything went very smoothly.
As your state representative and friend, I appreciate the harmonious relationship we have developed over the years. Once again, thank you for the use of your wonderful facility and skilled staff.
Sincerely,

Just wanted to say thanks for a fabulous weekend. The seniors and I had a ball and I hope we weren’t too loud for the rest of the visitors at Pocmont. Hope to see you in the future.
Love,
Maria Browning

I visited your resort from September 24 to September 27, 2007 I was with the Post Cana Group. All of your staff members that with whom I came in contact were very nice, but I would like to tell you about two who were especially accommodating. I have a special diet and your chef came out and talked to me and he made sure that I received the correct food. I would also like to tell you that my server, Penelope, was very attentive to my special needs and made sure I received the correct meals. They both made my stay very enjoyable and I could relax and enjoy my stay.
Yours truly,
Jean Kera

Our group, Resurrection Seniors, spent last Oct. 9 to 13 at Pocmont and we had a wonderful time. The accommodations and food were first rate and the personnel very obliging. Prior to our arrival you had upgraded our rooms from outside the main lodge to inside at no extra cost and we appreciated that. During our stay one of our members became very ill, but your fellow employees made sure she got to the Medical Center and later picked up her prescription. This turned a difficult situation for me into one I could cope with. We returned home with many pleasant memories of Pocmont and we hope to see you again in the near future.

We, the Carefree Vagabonds, had the pleasure of being guests at your magnificent Resort on September 4. The Vagabond Committee wants to commend Charna Vasquez, making sure that every detail was taken care of, and making our stay a memorable one.

Enclosed is the survey that I passed out to all the Red Hatters, thought you might be interested. We had a wonderful time, the staff was very helpful and patient with our numerous questions and requests. I made the scarf, hope you enjoy it as an honorary member of our group. Once again, thank you for making our first ‘getaway’ a success. Hope to see you again!
Sincerely,
Queen Mother
